Castello di Castelfranco

Castelfranco Castle, built in the twelfth century by the Counts of Treviso, is a compound consisting of a square building with four corner towers and four gates medians. Chief among them is called the tower "in front" facing the road that leads to Treviso. This tower was elevated compared to the other, at different times, provided with bell and cupola. Corresponding to this, towards the west, there is the door of Musile, also known as the Citadel.
